23 oktober: From a friend 💚

Those who contemplate the beauty of the earth find reserves of strength that will endure as long as life lasts. There is something infinitely healing in the repeated refrains of nature, the assurance that dawn comes after night, and spring after winter.
Yet, for all her vitality, Mother Nature is fragile, her sustained equilibrium but a slight gust away from irreversible destruction.
Hope springs eternal but we do not have eternity.

And so, from today onwards, I vow and beyond that to act to do what I can to take care of you. To contribute in however small a measure, to try to give back even a fraction of what you have given me.
